Getting Started: Upload Your First Asset

Learn how to upload a photo or video to your library, understand the ingestion flow, and confirm your asset is ready.

01

Sign in and open your Library

After logging in, navigate to the Library from the left-hand sidebar. This is your personal asset archive — everything you upload lives here, organised chronologically.

02

Click "Start Archival Ingest"

In the top-right of the Library, click the "Start Archival Ingest" button. A staging panel will open where you can drag and drop files or browse your device. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, WebP, MP4, and MOV.

03

Add files and begin the ingest

Once your files are staged, click "Begin Ingest". Each asset is uploaded, processed, and given a unique accession ID. You will see real-time progress in the overlay — statuses move from "Uploading" → "Processing" → "Ready".

04

Confirm your asset is ready

When processing is complete, your asset appears in the Library grid with its thumbnail visible. Click any asset to open the detail view where you can see metadata, accession ID, and file details.
